House of 1000 Corpses: Captain Spaulding

One of my unexpected favorite costumes comes from Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses- And who, knowing the gem that was Sid Haig (rip babe, you woulda loved my sparkly ass), would have thought I could've made the grumpy uncle clown we all love so hot?

As for cosplay details, this was one of my more fully realized on my own costumes. I drew it from the original male design & adapted it for myself. I kept a budget & a notes/ work list for my project. I found a few incredible pairs of shoes in a sense of style & comfort. I also spent nearly three full days hand embroidering the back of my jacket with a movie quote-- And I had sewn through sequins.

Shoutout to my tutu bustle & corset for doing all that work tho, y'all rock.

Fun fact, I shaved my eyebrows for this makeup so I didn't have to cover them since my drawn on eyebrows were going to be at my hairline-- I have never gone back, drawn on brows forever baby.
