After a lil theatre gap, I got back in just in time for the holidays. Luckily, at Derby Dinner, I wasn't needed as a dresser and most of my time was learning & doing projects in the shop.
A very interesting job to me is costume replication. I got to make extra ghost costumes- painting them first & adding choreography appropriate chains. Another- probably my favorite ghost being the headless one, I got to make the fake/ blackout neck in the jacket. I also was able to take apart a bonnet hat & paint it to match the dress & reconstruct it fully!
