The Drowsy Chaperone

My first post undergrad summer job came at Lees McRae in Banner Elk, NC. The projects I can remember from this show include the aviator's jodhpurs, the Tall Brother's shoe paint jobs, & developing the 4 end of show wedding vales!

This was quite fun getting to design period vales- I did have bases I used from stock. I did things like add beads, & even line the whole Chaperone's flapper cap veil-

For the Tall Brother's shoes I got to paint a pair of leather & suede shoes that had to match each other's outfit vibe but in their respective color set-

And as for the jodhpurs, I got a regular pant pattern & extended & sloped the hips to make the correct shape which was then transferred to the correct fabric pattern
